The Small History of Hijrah

There was a great moment in Islamic development until Islam can reached the universe. It was the begin of the Islamic development and the monarchy of Islam. It was also the begin of the Islamic victory then people professed the paganism faith. Its name Hijrah.

Hijrah in its etymology is arranged from Ha Ja Ra, which according to the arabic dictionary means "leave" or "move from one place to the other place". And its terminology is the moving of Rasulullah and moslem people from Mecca to Medina for developing Islamic faith. This moment was based on command of Allah SWT because of situation in Macca was impossible for Islamic development.

You know that in Macca Muhammad and his followers got the tortures and threats from their society. Until came the help from Allah SWT with the coming of people from Yatsrib who believe that Muhammad was the messenger of Allah SWT. Afterwards, moslem people and Yatsrib people made the agreement of Aqabah I and II. Its contain was they will not identify Allah SWT with something, They will not killing the children, they will not having sexual intercourse before married, they will not saying lie and doing the rebellious.

And then moslem people started to do hijrah. They went to Medina leaving their homeland and their brother who was not moslem. They went hiddenly because they worry if Quraisy people knew then hindered moslem people to hijrah.

Before Rasulullah did Hijrah, there was a moment where quraisy people want to kill him. But Allah aborted their plan with change the position of Rasulullah with Ali on Rasulullah's bed.

Rasulullah went to Medina with Abu Bakar by riding camel. They also hide in Tsur Cave where Allah give them the miracle shaped the cage of spider who didn't damaged until the opponent of moslem can't find them.

Finnaly, when they arrived in Medina, the society of Medina welcome them happily while sang.

And you know that, still many things that was done by moslem people to change civization fom Jahiliah into Islamic Civilization.
